1940’s to 1960’s Beirut. The golden age; a period in Beirut’s history that evokes nostalgia and memories of better days. If its streets could speak, they would tell tales of a city that flourished in a time of prosperity; Of a glamorous cosmopolitan capital that was commonly referred to as the Paris of the Middle East, and its reputation as an alluring playground for oil tycoons, spies, and movie stars, the likes of Brigitte Bardot, Peter O’Toole, and Elizabeth Taylor.
